Job summary

Yona Solutions in Illinois seeks a friendly Dietary Aide to provide warm, hospitable dining support for residents, visitors, and coworkers. You will help set up dining areas, assist in meal service under supervision, and maintain cleanliness and order in the dining room.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to pass a background check. Knowledge of sanitation guidelines and basic food-service operations is preferred; strong communication and physical stamina

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Customer service experience is appreciated.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
