Job summary

Yona is hiring a Dietary Aide to join our team. You will help provide warm and friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers while supporting meals and dining services.

We offer benefits and opportunities for growth, with responsibilities including dining setup, meal preparation under supervision, and tray delivery. A valid high school diploma and/or food service certification are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Experience in customer service is advantageous.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates and utensils.
• Discard leftovers and manage waste.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in tracking expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
