Position Summary

The dietary aide assists with meal preparation, delivery, and cleanup, adhering to regulatory standards and departmental policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a ROCKSTAR attitude
• Ability to read, write, speak English, and follow instructions
• Food Handlers Certification required (must be presented during orientation or prior to working)
• Healthcare experience preferred

Essential Functions

• Assist with food prep, delivery, and dishwashing, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
• Handle chemicals safely using PPE and follow safety guidelines
• Maintain work areas in accordance with sanitation and safety policies
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing with PPE
• Report equipment issues promptly
• Adhere to dress code and workplace behavior standards
• Maintain regular attendance per FPACP policy
• Provide positive customer service to residents, families, and colleagues
• Perform other duties as needed

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and reaching, with or without accommodations.

Work Schedule

As assigned, including weekends, evenings, and holidays; non-exempt position.
