Job summary

Santa Cruz Post Acute in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking a reliable Full-Time Dietary Aide to support our nutrition services and dining experience for residents. PM shift from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

You will assist with meal prep, tray assembly, serving, sanitation, stock, and courteous interactions with residents and staff. Prior dietary/food service experience is preferred but not required; we value dependability and teamwork in a compassionate care setting.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred (not required).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Passion for providing excellent service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and tray assembly according to dietary plans.
• Serve meals and deliver trays to residents in a timely manner.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Clean dishes, kitchen equipment, and dining areas.
• Stock and organize kitchen supplies.
• Provide courteous and respectful interaction with residents and staff.
