Job summary

Santa Cruz Post Acute is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our on-site care team in Santa Cruz, CA. This role offers both full-time and part-time schedules with day, evening, and night shifts, and a competitive starting pay of $23.00-$26.00 per hour DOE.

You will work closely with nursing staff to provide safe, dignified daily care to residents. Eligible CNAs must hold an active California CNA certification.

Qualifications

• Active California CNA certification is required.

• Must pass background check and health screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Deliver compassionate, resident-focused care that promotes independence and dignity.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and other observations.
• Support meal service and ensure proper hydration.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident spaces.
• Promptly report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the care team on both clinical and non-clinical tasks.
