Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting with preparing the salad bar, maintaining beverages, ensuring cleanliness of the cafeteria and dining area, assisting in meal preparation and delivery, operating the dish machine, supporting the cook, and stocking kitchen supplies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Comply with food service policies and procedures.
2. Follow sanitation and safety guidelines.
3. Obtain tray counts and assist in meal tray preparation.
4. Set up and maintain salad and dessert bars, prepare vegetables and salads.
5. Wash dishes and keep the dish area clean.
6. Use portion control guidelines.
7. Record dish machine temperatures daily.
8. Maintain cleanliness of dining and food prep areas.
9. Ensure beverages are stocked and coffee pots are full.
10. Interact positively with patients and offer assistance.
11. Promote harmonious work relationships.
12. Report equipment issues immediately.

Your Experience Matters

Compensation
