Job summary

Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Worcester, MA is seeking a Dietary Aide / Food Service Worker to join our dining services team. This full/part-time position offers AM and PM shifts and rotating weekends as needed.

You will prepare, portion, and serve meals, deliver trays, and maintain dining areas with attention to safety and quality. Entry-level applicants are welcome; prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Entry-level welcome; healthcare or senior living setting is a plus.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30–50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and serve meals, snacks, and beverages according to resident meal plans and dietary restrictions.
• Deliver meal trays to resident rooms and assist with dining room meal service.
• Set up, clear, and clean dining areas, tray lines, and food prep stations.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashers and three-compartment sinks.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines (HACCP/OSHA).
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and nursing teams to ensure prompt meal delivery.
