Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a part-time Dietary Assistant/Supervisor to support dining services in a residential setting. Responsibilities include setting up dining areas, serving meals, and assisting with light prep and cleanliness to ensure a pleasant dining experience for residents.

The role requires ability to lift up to 25 lbs, follow directions, and work with flexible hours; a Food Handlers Card is required. Experience in food service is helpful but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables with placemats and place settings and reset for the next meal.
• Serve meals to residents and assist with minor food and drink prep.
• Assist nursing staff with trays for residents in their rooms as needed.
• Clear tables, wash dishes, and clean dining room and kitchen areas.
• Deliver snack boxes to resident floors daily and assist with stocking.

Supervisor: Dietary Manager, or, in her absence, the cook on dutyDepartment: DietaryStatus: Part-time (4 days/week)Summary of the position: Responsible for setting up and cleaning off tables, serving residents meals, and for minor food and drink prep tasks, and for helping to maintain the cleanliness of the dining room.Key Responsibilities:The duties include, but not limited to, the following:Sets up tables with placemats and place settings.Checks levels of sugar, creamer, salt, pepper, etc., refilling as necessary.Portions and distributes desserts.Prepares beverages and maintains the proper temperature of such.Serves plates prepared by the cook to residents and informs cook of special needs.In cooperation with nursing staff, helps with trays of those requiring meals in their rooms.After residents are finished with meals, removes edibles from the table according to dietary routine.Clears tables of dishes, washes tables, wipes off condiment containers and chairs as necessary.Resets tables for the next meal according to dietary routine.Delivers snack boxes to resident floors daily.Assists in putting away food and kitchen supplies as delivered.Sweeps dining room floor.
