Job summary

Wharton-Nursing-and-Rehabilitation-Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meals for residents, following the guidance of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines. You will assist with food prep, serve beverages, set up trays, stock the snack cart, buss tables, clean the kitchen area and dishwashing, and follow proper handwashing standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
• Follow universal precautions and state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations.
• Preparing and serving beverages.
• Setting up and passing trays for meal service.
• Stocking snack cart.
• Bussing of tables and trays.
• Cleaning the kitchen work area and dishwashing.
• Follow proper handwashing guidelines.
• Additional special projects or tasks as assigned by CDM or Executive Director.
