Job summary

Villas of Holly Brook in Washington, IL is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our memory care dining team. This part-time role supports meal service, assists cooks, and helps create a warm, restaurant-style dining experience for residents.

The position offers hourly pay from $15.00 to $17.50, weekends required, and benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO accrual, life insurance, disability coverage, and a 401(k) with immediate company match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables, assist the cook, take resident food and beverage orders, and serve residents promptly and professionally.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Set tables according to company standards and assist with meal service.
• Serve beverages and review daily menu with residents.
• Remove used dishes, utensils, and linens to maintain dining room cleanliness.
• Adhere to quality standards and food safety practices.
• Assist with events, banquets, and themed meals as needed.
• Acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining options as applicable.
• Maintain a clean dining area and foster teamwork among staff.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setting and clearing tables, assisting the cook, taking residents food and beverage orders and serving residents in a timely professional manner.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Set tables in accordance to Company standards.
• Serve residents and guests beverages as requested.
• Review daily menu with residents.
• Remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, linen from the dining room as needed.
• Adhere to Quality standards and standard food safety practices.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• When applicable acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining options and hours.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room.
• Create a strong sense of team work and cooperation among all staff.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
