Job summary

Chick-fil-A is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen team with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. This full-time role requires managing the kitchen operations, coaching leaders and team members, and ensuring timely preparation of crave-able food in line with Chick-fil-A standards.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality management experience, strong leadership and budgeting awareness, and a commitment to outstanding guest service. Sundays off and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school degree required; BA/BS in Food Service or Culinary Management preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in hospitality management.
• Available 5am-2pm Monday-Saturday.
• Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational practices.
• ServSafe certification preferred; Sundays off.

Responsibilities

• Everything behind the swinging door during the shift.
• Deliver crave-able food in a timely manner meeting Chick-fil-A quality requirements.
• Coach leaders and team members in the kitchen.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and food safety practices.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs in the kitchen.
• Track and manage waste, checklists, and orders.
• Schedule kitchen crew and manage pickup/delivery orders.
• Coach, evaluate, and hold kitchen staff accountable.

Responsibilities:

• Everything behind the swinging door during the shift
• Always delivering crave-able food, in a timely manner, that meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A Quality Requirements
• Coaching the behaviors of all Leaders and Team Members who work in the Kitchen
• Execution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environment
• Maintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food safety
• Vigilant attention to the organization and appearance of the kitchen
• Daily assign kitchen crew to positions and ensure all pickup/delivery orders are made in a timely manner
• Coaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all Kitchen Team Members
• Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment used in the Kitchen
• Track and eliminate waste of food
• Responsible for all checklists, truck orders, and produce orders

Qualifications:

• High school degree is required. BA/BS in Food Service or Culinary Management is preferred
• A minimum of (3) years of experience in the hospitality industry specifically in Management
• Available 5am-2pm Monday-Saturday
• Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational practices
• A passion for people and service
• Able to lead, coach and delegate a team of individuals in a fast-paced environment
