Job summary

Cherrydale Post Acute in Greenville, SC, is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dedicated kitchen team. You will support meal preparation and service while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment to ensure residents receive nutritious meals that meet dietary needs.

Responsibilities include setting up and serving meal trays, assisting with service, cleaning, monitoring sanitation, and supporting the cook and dietary supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler's Certification.
• Experience in a healthcare or food service setting preferred.
• Ability to learn food service routines quickly.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.

• Set up and serve meal trays based on dietary guidelines.
• Assist with meal service and food preparation.
• Clear trays, wash dishes, and operate the dishwasher.
• Monitor and record dishwasher temperature and sanitation levels.
• Prepare snacks and nourishments for residents.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and dining areas.
• Clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and equipment.
• Store food and supplies safely and properly.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout shift.
• Follow all food safety and infection control procedures.
• Support the cook and dietary supervisor as needed.
