Job summary

Cherrydale Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist the dietary team with meal preparation and service while upholding a clean, safe kitchen environment.

You will support meal service, tray setup, and ensure residents receive meals aligned with dietary needs. PRN opportunities exist across our facility network with room for advancement in South Carolina.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler's Certificate required.
• Experience in healthcare or food service preferred.
• Ability to learn food service routines quickly.

Responsibilities

• Set up and serve meal trays according to dietary guidelines.
• Assist with meal service and food preparation.
• Clear trays and operate the dishwasher.
• Monitor and record dishwasher temperature and sanitation levels.
• Prepare snacks and nourishments.
• Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and dining areas.
• Store food and supplies safely and properly.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout shift.
• Follow all food safety and infection control procedures.
• Assist the cook and dietary supervisor as needed.
