Job summary

Cherrydale Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation and service within a clean, safe kitchen. You will work with the dietary team to meet residents’ dietary needs and ensure quality meals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler's Certification.
• Experience in healthcare or food service preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and serve meal trays based on dietary guidelines.
• Assist with meal service and food preparation.
• Clear trays, wash dishes, and operate the dishwasher.
• Monitor and record dishwasher temperatures and sanitation levels.
• Prepare snacks and nourishments for residents.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and dining areas.
• Clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and equipment.
• Store food and supplies safely and properly.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Follow all food safety and infection control procedures.
• Support the cook and dietary supervisor as needed.

Position Summary
