Job summary

HHS, LLC is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide at Saint Mary Rehabilitation Hospital to support the dietary team and help serve meals to patients. You will assist with menu selections, deliver meals timely, and provide excellent service to ensure patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, preparing hot and cold items, and delivering menus while adhering to health and safety policies. Full-time and part-time shifts with day/evening/night options are available.

Qualifications

• Age must be at least 18 years.
• Must communicate in English and be team oriented.
• Culinary experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team!

As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Responsibilities

• Wage: $16/hour

• Full-time and part-time positions available

• Day/Evening/Night shifts available

• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

• Location: Saint Mary Rehabilitation Hospital

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements

• Provide excellent customer service for all patients

• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner

• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times

• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures

• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform

• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment

• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds

• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
