Job summary

Southwest LTC is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation, serving, and delivery to residents. You will help ensure meals meet dietary guidelines and resident preferences while maintaining a clean and safe dining area.

The role supports the dietary team in following safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols and requires good communication and teamwork in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Experience in dietary services, food service, or healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25–50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
