Job summary

Eden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team in a long-term care setting. You will assist with meal preparation, service, and clean-up, support the cook, and ensure meals meet prescribed dietary orders and schedules.

Work location is a single site. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with alternate weekends. We offer premium compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), dental, health, paid time off and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in dietary service preferred.
• Ability to read and understand recipe directions, diet orders, tallies and work assignments.
• This position will show willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work using dietary utensils, supplies and equipment as assigned.
• Meet scheduled meal and snack times.
• Provide assistance to the cook in the preparation and service of meals.
• Follow Federal, State and local long term care regulations and Dietary Department policies.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Set dining rooms for resident service.
• Serve meals.
• Stock pantry and cupboards with dishware and food items as per par levels.
• Attend in-service educational programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Dietary Supervisor.
