Job summary

Personal Healthcare Management LLC is seeking a dietary aide in New York. The role involves preparing and serving meals, assisting cooks, and ensuring compliance with care regulations and facility policies.

You will follow schedules, maintain cleanliness, stock utensils and food items, and participate in ongoing training. The position offers premium compensation and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in dietary service is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand recipe directions, diet orders, tallies and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Perform dietary tasks using utensils, supplies and equipment as assigned.
• Meet scheduled meal and snack times.
• Provide assistance to the cook in the preparation and service of meals.
• Follow Federal, State and local long term care regulations and Dietary Department policies and procedures.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Set dining rooms for resident service.
• Serve meals.
• Stock pantry and cupboards with dishware and food items as per par levels.
• Attend in-service educational programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Dietary Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform defined work using dietary utensils, supplies and equipment as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor.
