As a Dietary Aide, you play a vital role in our community. You assist in preparing and serving meals to our residents, starting with carefully setting up trays and serving regular meals, preparing snack items, and food requests for special events. You deliver high-quality customer service by distributing food according to dietary guidelines and individual resident meal plans, ensuring the quality and temperature of food items. You also deliver and retrieve trays during meal times and wash dishes.
You maintain safety and sanitary conditions by cleaning tables, chairs, and food service equipment, and by picking up food and trash. You comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, and follow all company policies and procedures. Your friendly demeanor helps you provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues. Ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements, and follow instructions. No experience required; a willingness to learn is essential. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability are necessary. Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform duties and communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.
