Mountain Youth Academy (a UHS company) is seeking a DIETARY/AIDE! Come make a difference in the life of a child and love what you do!

Note: This role requires a successful background check, fingerprinting, and employment verification.

Mountain Youth Academy is located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility that assists in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of behavioral health issues in young adolescents.

Position Summary

Prepares and cooks meals for patients and staff of the facility. The employee is HWC and CPR certified and may assist in supervising patients.

Job Requirements
  • Demonstrates knowledge of proper food preparation, including receiving, storing, handling, and following recipes.
  • Prepares and serves food according to the menu, number of people, and portion control.
  • Ensures the maintenance of modified diets as instructed.
  • Uses and stores equipment properly and maintains a clean environment, including utensils, appliances, floors, and equipment.

Job Requirements/Special Skills:
