Job summary

Lorien Mays Chapel is seeking Dietary Aides to help keep our skilled nursing facility running smoothly and our residents well-fed. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and full-time benefits in Timonium, MD.

You will assist with meal prep, service, and cleanup, while delivering excellent resident care and maintaining safe, clean dining areas. Participation in team-oriented operations ensures quality meals that meet dietary needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, a plus.
• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Integrity and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals according to established standards and guidelines.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and team members.
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas remain clean, safe, and well-organized at all times.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to provide nutritious, appealing meals that meet residents’ dietary needs.
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and infection control regulations.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Assist in preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals according to established standards and guidelines
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and team members

• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and infection control regulations

Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High School diploma or GED, a plus
• Must be at least 17 years old
• Integrity and a strong work ethic
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and the willingness to help where and when it is needed

Schedule & Availability

• Full-Time Hour
• 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM and 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Every other weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)
