Job summary

Lorien Encore is seeking compassionate Dietary Aides to help with meal preparation and service in our skilled nursing community. Join a team that values resident health, satisfaction, and quality service on a part-time schedule.

Pay rate is $16.00 per hour with same-day pay options and part-time benefits including PTO and holidays. Prior food service experience is helpful but not required; high school diploma or GED is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals according to established standards and guidelines.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and team members.
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas remain clean, safe, and well-organized at all times.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to provide nutritious, appealing meals that meet residents’ dietary needs.
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and infection control regulations.
• High School diploma or GED, a plus.
• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Previous experience as a Dietary Aide, Food Service Worker, or Kitchen Assistant preferred (but not required).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and resident care.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.

Pay Rate

• $16.00 per hour
• Same Day Pay available for all employees

Part-Time Benefits

• PTO 40 hours (rollover available)

What You’ll Do

• Every other weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)
