Job summary

The Village at Gleannloch Farms is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our skilled dining services team. You will prepare and serve therapeutic diet trays for health center residents and help maintain a warm, safe dining environment.

Full-time role with opportunities for training, benefits, and a culture built on teamwork and respect. Previous nursing home food service experience is preferred, and you will collaborate with residents, families, and staff daily.

Responsibilities

• Prepare therapeutic desserts and salads as required and serve meals in the health center.
• Set up and break down dining areas for meals in the health center.
• Transport hot and cold foods to and from the health center and related nonfood items.
• Maintain station equipment and keep work area clean and sanitary.
• Adhere to personal hygiene standards and dress code; attend in-service trainings.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and serving therapeutic diet trays to health center residents in accordance with posted therapeutic diet menus. Our team members provide extraordinary care and hold each other accountable.

Status: Full-Time

• Prepares therapeutic desserts and salads as required.
• Serves meals in the health center.
• Sets up tables in the health center dining room and breaks down same after meal.
• Transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center.
• Transports all required nonfood items to and from the health center.
• Maintains station equipment and work area in safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
• Previous experience in nursing home food service preferred.
• Can understand measurements and conversions.
• Are a team player!
