Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Shawnee, Oklahoma, is seeking a Dietary Aide who will create exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. The role involves taking orders, assisting residents, delivering meals, and maintaining cleanliness.

Ideal candidates will either hold a sanitation certification or be able to obtain one shortly after hire. Experience in a restaurant setting and a compassionate, team-oriented attitude are required. Opportunities for both full-time and part-time employment are available.

Qualifications

• Sanitation Certified or willing to obtain certification within 30 days.
• Experience in restaurant service preferred.
• Compassionate response to residents' needs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests.
• Take food and drink orders and assist residents as needed.
• Deliver meals and clear dinnerware promptly.

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Dietary Aide to beresponsible forcreating an exceptional dining experience for all residents and guests. The Dietary Aide will be responsible for taking food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents when needed, delivering meals, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.

What we're looking for:

• Sanitation Certified or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have a solid work ethic, positive attitude, and be a good team player.
• Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.
