Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group's Seattle Medical Post Acute Care is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. We value a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work, and our enhanced dining program emphasizes culinary excellence.

You will read production orders, place utensils and condiments on trays, assist with food preparation, and serve meals at the correct temperature. You’ll also push carts, wash dishes, and help keep the workspace clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• Food handlers' permit required.
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail in food service.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.

Essential Functions:

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness
