Job summary

Seattle Medical Post Acute Care is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. We are a team-focused facility that takes pride in providing quality meals and a caring dining experience for residents.

You will read production orders, assist with tray assembly, help with food preparation, and ensure meals are served at the proper temperature while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. We offer a supportive work environment with training and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handlers' Permit.
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place items such as utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Wash dishes and keep work area clean.

Seattle Medical Post Acute Care is currently looking for a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. We are seeking a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work. Our enhanced dining program provides culinary excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Required: Food Handlers' Permit
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety
• Interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
