Job summary

North Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department in Bellingham, WA. The role supports meal service, reads production orders, and assists with food preparation to ensure meals meet quality standards.

The position offers FT availability with weekend shifts on Sat and Sun, 2 PM to 8:30 PM, with emphasis on sanitation, teamwork, and patient-centered service. Evergreen Healthcare Group benefits are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Handlers' Permit.
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place items on trays (utensils, napkins, condiments, tray cards).
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve food on trays at the proper time, temperature, and presentation.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen and assist with workflow.
• Wash dishes and keep the work area clean.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the dietary area.

Job Summary

North Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Centeris currently looking for a Dietary Aideto join our dietary department. We are seeking a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work. Our enhanced dining program provides culinary excellence.

Essential Functions

• Read production orders on tray cards

• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.

• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.

• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.

• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.

• Washes dishes and cleans work area

• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Required:Food Handlers' Permit

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety

• Interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail

• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
