Job summary

Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich is seeking Dietary Aides to join our team. As a Dining Services Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and services to our residents with competitive hourly wages and weekly pay.

Shifts are a mix of 6:30a-2:30p and 12p-8p. Responsibilities include following therapeutic diet cards, delivering meals, maintaining food presentation, and adhering to sanitation policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to follow oral and written communication.
• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of dining service areas.
• Must perform regular inspections of dietary services areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing dietary practices.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
