Job summary

Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich is hiring a Full-time Dietary Aide to join our dining services team. The role includes following therapeutic diet cards, delivering meals on time, and maintaining the appearance of foods with garnishes. We offer $18 per hour with weekly pay.

Shift hours are 6:30a–2:30p and 12p–8p. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays, overtime pay, a 401(k) with employer match, vacation time, and career advancement

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to follow oral and written communication.
• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of dining service areas.
• Must perform regular inspections of dietary services areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing dietary practices.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
