Job summary

Holston Health & Rehab in Wytheville, VA is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals, following resident dietary plans and facility menus. You’ll help maintain cleanliness, assist with tray delivery, and collaborate with dietary and nursing staff to support residents’ nutrition. No experience?

We’ll train the right person. A high school diploma is preferred; weekend/holiday shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service, healthcare, or hospitality setting preferred (but not required — we’ll train the right person!).
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be dependable and able to work scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and infection control standards is a plus.
