Job summary

Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and service for residents in a caring environment.

Placed in Lancaster County, PA, the role emphasizes sanitation, dietary compliance, and friendly resident interaction, with a schedule of 3:30 PM–7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and some weekends as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience working with seniors, preferably in Long Term Care.
• Good communication skills and ability to read.
• Previous experience in a dietary or food service role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents during meal times.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols in food handling.
