Emerald Nursing and Rehabilitation in Elizabethtown, PA is hiring a part-time Dietary Aide to support resident meals and dietary plans in a family-like, caring environment.

You will work with the kitchen team to prepare and serve meals, ensure sanitary standards, and help tailor menus to residents' needs while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to comply with sanitation regulations.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Strong computer and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Review dietary requirements with Dieticians to develop menus and care plans.
• Prepare menus based on medical conditions, preferences, and tastes.
• Assist with meal preparation and serving.
• Inspect diet trays for dietary restriction compliance.
• Assist with stocking daily kitchen supplies and inventory.
• Help with cleaning duties in kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities of aDietary Aide:

• Reviewing patients' dietary requirements and preferences and discussing them with Dieticians to develop healthy menus and nutritional care plans.
• Preparing individual dietary menus based on patients' medical conditions, physical health, preferences, and distastes.
• Assisting with meal preparation and serving.
• Inspecting special diet trays to ensure they comply with the dietary restrictions.
• Assisting the Cook with determining kitchen supplies and stock for the day, as well as checking and maintaining stock levels.
• Assisting with cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas.
