Job summary

Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab in Elizabethtown, PA is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and service for residents. The role supports dietary staff and ensures dining areas are kept clean and safe for residents during meal times.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and prior experience with seniors or in food service is preferred. Evening hours from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience working with seniors, preferably in Long Term Care.
• Good communication skills and ability to read.
• Previous experience in a dietary or food service role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents during meal times.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols in food handling.
