Job summary

Rawlins Rehabilitation and Wellness, part of Evergreen Healthcare Group, is currently looking for a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. You will assist with food preparation, tray assembly, and serving meals to residents, ensuring meals are served hot and on time.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers' Permit required.
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place items such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve food on trays at proper time, in attractive presentation, and at correct temperature; may assist with food prep.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Wash dishes and maintain clean work area.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness.

Job Summary:

Rawlins Rehabilitation and Wellness is currently looking for a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. We are seeking a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work. Our enhanced dining program provides culinary excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Required: Food Handlers' Permit
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety
