Job summary

Prescott Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meals for patients and staff in our nursing center, including event catering. You will assist with meal preparation, service, and post-service cleanup as directed by the cook.

This role values reliable teamwork, clear communication, and basic sanitation knowledge; prior experience in food service or long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• The dietary aide candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.

• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages
