Job summary

Meadowview Behavioral Hospital is seeking a Dietary Aide to support patient meals in a fast-paced, team‑driven environment. You’ll assist with meal preparation, service, and kitchen operations to ensure safe, welcoming dining for patients and staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least 1 year of food service experience with basic sanitation knowledge. We offer full-time and part-time roles with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma.
• Experience: Must have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in food service, and have a basic knowledge of food service sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and assembling patient meal trays according to daily counts and menu requirements.
• Set up and maintain salad and dessert bars with a neat, organized, and appealing presentation.
• Prepare vegetables, salads, and other food items following portion control guidelines.
• Ensure an adequate supply of beverages and meal-related items throughout service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room, kitchen, and food preparation areas.
• Operate the dish machine and ensure the dish room remains clean and organized.
• Assist the cook and kitchen team as needed during meal service.
• Stock kitchen supplies and deliver items to units as required.
• Follow all established sanitation, safety, and infection control guidelines.
• Support a positive dining experience by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
