Rosedale Health & Rehabilitation Richmond is hiring a Dietary Aide in Richmond, Virginia. You will help prepare and serve meals, maintain dining areas, and assist residents with meals. A friendly, compassionate approach and reliability are essential for delivering nutritious options in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Background in food service, restaurant, hospitality or healthcare dietary roles preferred.
• Willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong customer service and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
• Set up and maintain clean, organized dining areas.
• Deliver meals to residents with a friendly, compassionate attitude.
• Assist residents during meal service as needed.
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and dining areas.
• Store food properly and monitor inventory levels.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control guidelines.
• Collaborate with dietary team to ensure excellent dining experiences.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.

What We're Looking For

• Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare dietary experience is preferred—but we're willing to train the right candidate!
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and compassionate.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler Certification is a plus.
