Job summary

Empro-Staffing seeks a reliable Dietary Aide to support patient meals, ensuring nutritional and dietary compliance. You will assist in meal prep, service, and maintain sanitation in kitchen and dining areas, collaborating with nursing staff.

The role offers 7am-3pm or 11am-7pm shifts, full-time status, and weekly pay at $21/hour with overtime at $31.50/hour. Health insurance and standard benefits are included; prior dietary experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a dietary aide or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow dietary guidelines and assist in meal preparation.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to specific dietary requirements.
• Deliver meals to patients while ensuring timely service and proper portion sizes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation protocols within kitchen and dining areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen and nursing staff to address patient dietary needs effectively.
• Help organize and execute special meal plans as needed.
• Conduct quality checks on food items and report any issues to the supervisor.

Job description

We are seeking reliable Dietary Aides to join our dynamic team and help ensure that patients receive nutritious and appropriately prepared meals tailored to their dietary needs. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, food service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas. This position offers flexible scheduling; however, we are prioritizing candidates who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule.

FULL-TIME Openings: 7AM-3PM (Day) & 11AM-7PM (Eve)

If you are unable to commit and consistently work any of the open shifts including working every other Saturday & Sunday then this position is not the right fit for you.

The hourly rate is $21/hr. and the overtime & holiday rate is $31.50/hr.

Our pay period is Sunday to Saturday and pay is weekly (every Thursday via direct deposit)
