Job summary

Masonic Village Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our compassionate dining team in New Jersey. This PRN position offers shift coverage from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM with same day pay at $15.92-$17.00 per hour.

You will assist in meal preparation, plate meals, and support residents with nutritious, appropriately selected meals while maintaining cleanliness and safety in a warm, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior experience in food preparation or food service strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills for caring for residents with age-related needs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation, plating, and meal service to residents.
• Support the delivery of meals with appropriate dietary selections per nutritional guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.
• Follow dietary guidelines, internal procedures, and safety rules.
• Collaborate with team to support meal service and kitchen operations.
• Provide courteous interactions with residents during meal service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation, plating, and meal service to residents in a timely, safe, and respectful manner.
• Support the delivery of meals by ensuring residents receive appropriate dietary selections in accordance with prescribed nutritional guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, equipment, and food service spaces in compliance with safety and infection control standards.
• Follow all dietary guidelines, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements related to food safety, nutrition, and resident care.
• Work collaboratively as a team player, contributing wherever needed to support meal service and kitchen operations.
• Provide courteous, respectful interactions with residents during meal service to promote a positive dining experience.
