Dietary Aide

This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone interested in a career in culinary services. We’re willing to provide training—come join our team!

Position Summary:

Provide assistance and support in all food-related functions including preparation, processing, and delivery to patients.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Kitchen Supervisor and/or Cook as requested.
2. Help with meal preparation according to patient dietary needs.
3. Assist in serving meals that are palatable and visually appealing.
4. Set up meal service timely, maintain food carts, and deliver meal trays.
5. Follow sanitation and food safety guidelines during meal prep and cleanup.
6. Keep work areas clean (sweep/mop floors, sterilize countertops, etc.).
7. Wash and clean cooking equipment, utensils, and meal service trays.
8. Return clean dishes and utensils to proper storage areas.
9. Collect and dispose of garbage properly.
10. Dispose of food and waste according to facility regulations.
11. Prepare food supplies for the next meal.
12. Follow all safety regulations and precautions at all times.
