Job summary

Garden Springs Healthcare in Ohio seeks a Dietary Aide to assist with meal service in a Long Term Care setting. You must be at least 17 years old with a minimum of 1 year LTC experience. Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals, observing sanitation, and assisting with daily cleaning tasks.

Other duties include stocking supplies, delivering carts, and supporting the Dietary Director as needed. Benefits and ongoing training are provided, with opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and appealing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals while observing sanitation and safety requirements.
• Serve food according to established portion control procedures.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties.
• Clean work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, etc.
• Sweep and mop floors as directed.
• Clean dirty dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc.
• Return clean items to proper storage areas.
• Set up meal trays and food carts as directed.
• Obtain food supplies for next meal.
• Deliver food carts to designated areas.

Minimum of 17 years old.

• Serve Meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance

• Subject to frequent interruptions.

• Subject to sudden temperature changes.
