Job summary

Seton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking customer service-oriented individuals to provide residents with a quality dining experience. No experience necessary; we will train the right people. Full-time and part-time roles available.

Shifts include morning 6:30am-2:30pm and evening 4pm-8pm. Duties include light food preparation, ensuring therapeutic diets, and maintaining sanitation in accordance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
• Past experience preferred, but we will train the right people!
• Knowledge of basic principles of foods, nutrition, and sanitation.
• Willing to wear hair covering and be well groomed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with light food preparation.
• Ensure diets are prepared and served as prescribed.
• Collaborate with dietary supervisor and dietitian.
• Maintain sanitation per regulations and health department rules.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
• Manage multiple tasks in a healthcare setting.

Full Time & Part Time Work Available

Morning (6:30am-2:30pm) and Evening (4pm-8pm) Shifts

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with light food preparation
• Ensure that all therapeutic diets are prepared and served as prescribed on resident's written slip
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills
• Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a demanding healthcare environment
• Works in conjunction with the dietary supervisor and dietitian to provide a well-balanced meal for the patients
• Follow the Health department rules and regulations on food preparation. Sanitation of the department will be maintained in accordance with Federal, State, County and City regulations

Required Skills and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred
• Past experience preferred, but we will train the right people!
• Must have knowledge of basic principles of foods and nutrition, food sanitationand service, familiar with large scale purchase and preparation of food
• Must be well groomed and willing to wear hair covering
