Job summary

LiveWell is seeking friendly, customer-service oriented individuals to provide residents with a quality dining experience. No experience is required as we will train the right people.

We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with morning and evening shifts (morning 6:30am-2:30pm, evening 4pm-8pm). Duties include light food prep, ensuring therapeutic diets, and maintaining sanitation per health regulations.

Qualifications

• No experience required; we will train the right people.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of basic foods, nutrition, sanitation basics.
• Well groomed and willingness to wear hair covering.

Responsibilities

• Assist with light food preparation.
• Ensure therapeutic diets are prepared and served as prescribed.
• Work with dietary supervisor and dietitian to provide well-balanced meals.
• Follow health department rules and maintain sanitation per regulations.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.

Full Time & Part Time Work Available

Morning (6:30am-2:30pm) and Evening (4pm-8pm) Shifts

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with light food preparation
• Ensure that all therapeutic diets are prepared and served as prescribed on resident's written slip
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills
• Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a demanding healthcare environment
• Works in conjunction with the dietary supervisor and dietitian to provide a well-balanced meal for the patients
• Follow the Health department rules and regulations on food preparation. Sanitation of the department will be maintained in accordance with Federal, State, County and City regulations

Required Skills and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred
• Past experience preferred, but we will train the right people!
• Must have knowledge of basic principles of foods and nutrition, food sanitationand service, familiar with large scale purchase and preparation of food
• Must be well groomed and willing to wear hair covering
