Job summary

CHS of Milan is hiring a full-time Dietary Aide for 6:00am-2:00pm or 11:00am-7:30pm shifts in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include meal service, food preparation, and dining room setup with strict adherence to safety standards. Prior dietary department experience is preferred in a healthcare environment, with strong customer service and teamwork expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dietary department preferred, preferably healthcare
• Ability to follow policies, safety and hygiene standards
• Capable of assisting with meal service and tray setup

Experience and Skills

Responsible for meal service, assisting in preparation offood, care and cleaning of food service equipment, setting uptrays and dining room tables.

Ability to ensure the delivery of meals and customerservice for a positive dining experience. Follow allapplicable policies and procedures as well as current federal,states and local guidelines and regulations that governlong-term care.

The Cook is responsible for the preparation of food inaccordance with current applicable federal, state, andlocal standards, guidelines and regulations, with ourestablished policies and procedures.

Previous experience working in a dietary department isrequired preferably in a healthcare setting.
