Job summary

Continuing Healthcare at The Ridge is hiring a part-time Dietary Aide for the evening shift. Entry level role with a sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. We offer an ESOP culture and opportunities within our employee-owned company.

Responsibilities include meal service, food prep assistance, and maintaining dining room and equipment cleanliness while complying with federal, state, and local regulations in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Responsible for meal service, assisting in preparation of food, care and cleaning of food service equipment, setting up trays and dining room tables.
• Ability to ensure the delivery of meals and customer service for a positive dining experience. Follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, states and local guidelines and regulations that govern long-term care.
• The Cook is responsible for the preparation of food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures.
• Previous experience working in a dietary department is required preferably in a healthcare setting.
