Job summary

Mountain-View-Healthcare-Center is seeking a Dietary Aide for an entry-level role in our culinary services team. We provide training and support to help you start a rewarding career in patient-focused food service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Kitchen Supervisor and/or Cook as requested
• Help with meal preparation following patient dietary needs
• Assist in serving meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
• Timely setting up of meal service, maintenance of food carts and delivery of meal trays
• Adheres to sanitation and food safety guidelines during meal preparation and clean up
• Keeps work areas clean (sweep/mop floors, sterilize counter tops, etc.)
• Wash and clean cooking equipment, utensils, meal service trays, etc.
• Return clean dishes and utensils to the proper storage areas
• Collect and carry out garbage
• Dispose of food and waste per facility regulations
• Prep food supplies for the next meal
• Follow all safety regulations and precautions at all times
