Job summary

Yona Solutions is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to help provide warm hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers. You will support meal service, sanitation, and safe food handling in a supportive environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic safety knowledge, and reliability. Prior dietary or customer service experience is welcome, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Friendly with good communication skills and stamina.
• Experience in customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
