Job summary

Yona Solutions in Arkansas is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our team. You will help provide warm hospitality to residents, guests and coworkers while supporting kitchen and dining operations.

Responsibilities include setting up dining areas, assisting cooks, delivering meals, maintaining cleanliness, inventory, and following safety guidelines. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, bowls, and utensils.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cookware and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.

Responsibilities:

• Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
• Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a dietary aide
• Further experience in customer service will be appreciated
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
• Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances
• Friendly with good communication skills
• Good physical condition and stamina
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus
• Must provide a criminal background check
