Job summary

Yona Solutions is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team and support residents with warm, friendly hospitality while assisting in meal service and dining operations.

In this role you will help set up dining areas, assist in meal preparation under supervision, deliver trays, and keep service areas clean and stocked. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and compliance with safety guidelines to ensure a pleasant dining experience for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have proven dietary aide experience.
• Customer service experience a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to operate cookware and kitchen appliances.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Clear dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.

Responsibilities:

• Must provide a criminal background check
