Yona Solutions in Staunton, IL is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team. You will set up dining areas, assist in meal preparation under supervision, deliver meals, manage cleanliness, and help with inventory and cost tracking.

This role emphasizes friendly resident service and adherence to sanitation guidelines. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with certification in food services a plus, and proven dietary aide or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dietary aide with knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Customer service experience is a plus to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to operate cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus
• Must provide a criminal background check
